Kenneth H. Rogers, D.O.
Dr. Rogers is President and one of the founding physicians of Advanced Pain Consultants, PA and has been in practice in southern New Jersey since May 1991. After completing his residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship in Pain Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 1990, Dr. Rogers started the division of Pain Management within the department of Anesthesiology at Cooper Hospital/University Medical Center. He remained the head of Pain Management until 1998 when he decided to limit his practice to Pain Medicine and enter private practice.
Dr. Rogers has been aggressively involved in bringing to southern New Jersey the most advanced pain management, diagnostic and therapeutic techniques available. He has extensive experience in all methods of spinal diagnostic injections, electrical stimulation of the spinal cord and peripheral nerves, implantable drug delivery systems into the spinal fluid, and radiofrequency nerve ablation techniques.
He has been an instructor for the International Spinal Injection Society for over ten years and is on the Standards Committee for the society.
Dr. Rogers is married with three children and usually can be found on the sidelines of some Soccer field somewhere in the Delaware Valley on weekends. His hobbies include playing guitar (James Taylor is his musical idol), digital photography, bicycling, wind surfing, computer technology and attempting to keep his wife happy. He also is the proud father of one adorable husky-Shepherd mix and five mischievous (although entertaining) cats.
Stephen S. Boyajian, D.O.
Dr. Boyajian, originally from Massachusetts, attended medical school in Chicago. He then did his residency training in Internal Medicine and Anesthesiology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Following his residency training he then returned to Massachusetts to complete a Fellowship in Pain Management at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center.
Upon completion of his fellowship training he and his family relocated to the South Jersey area where he founded and directed Laurel Pain Consultants. Dr. Boyajian and Dr. Rogers subsequently co-founded Advanced Pain Consultants with the purpose of organizing a Pain Management practice with a team of physicians dedicated to providing the highest quality of care, incorporating the highest standards in the subspecialty, and to establish new minimally invasive surgical techniques to offer patients potential alternatives to conventional open surgical techniques.
Dr. Boyajian's special interest are in minimally invasive surgical techniques for treating disc related pain. He has been performing endoscopic laser disc decompression for several years and is currently training other physicians in this minimally invasive technique.
He has been in practice for the past 15 years in the South Jersey area where he resides with his wife and seven children.
